Oceanfront's Upper Deck Restaurant closed over taxes

VIRGINIA BEACH An Oceanfront landmark that was once a thriving supper club and later a swing-dancing venue has closed. The Upper Deck Restaurant at 16th Street and Atlantic Avenue has been padlocked by officials from the state Department of Taxation. Notices on the front door said a company headed by owner Nancy Rodio owed taxes.
